Product Description
- The MPLCG series metal composite large-current Power Inductor ideal for use in DC to DC switching power supplies. The MPLCG"s small size makes it ideal in applications with tight space requirements. The combination of composite core material and round wire allows these inductors to be used in applications with high switching frequencies and where efficiency is important.
- Improved power supply efficiency with composite metal core
- Metal cores reduce core losses and improve power supply efficiency at light loads
- Used as part of a filter or for energy storage
- High permeability for higher inductance with lower DC resistance
- Low losses at higher switching frequencies
- Moulded metal structure reduces acoustic noise
- Higher current power and saturation in smaller packages
