Product Description
- The TMDS2MTRPFCKIT is a dual motor control and PFC developer"s kit based on Piccolo F28035 microcontroller. The Piccolo F28035 based dual motor control and PFC developer"s kit leverages the real time control capabilities of Piccolo, along with industry leading analog, to bring field oriented motor control and power factor correction into cost sensitive applications.
- Two motor control stages for controlling permanent magnet motors
- Power factor correction stage actively controlled by the Piccolo microcontroller
- Detailed example projects and documentation for power factor correction and motor control stages
- Detailed example project demonstrating how to combine the two onto one microcontroller
- Isolated USB to serial communication available for host control
- Overcurrent and overvoltage protection for PFC stage and overcurrent protection for inverter section
- Onboard isolated JTAG emulation
- Closed loop digital control with feedback using C2000"s onchip PWM and ADC peripherals
- PFC provides current shaping of the AC input and regulates the DCbus
- Sensorless field oriented control of two permanent magnet motors using the DRV8402 IPM module
