Product Description
- The TPA2100P1EVM is an evaluation module for TPA2100P, a mono Class-D amplifier with built in 10V boost converter designed for piezo and ceramic speakers. The TPA2100P1 drives up to 19VPP mono bridge tied load (BTL) from a 2.5V power supply at less 1 percent total harmonic distortion plus noise (THD+N). The TPA2100P1 is available in a WCSP package.
- Integrated DC to DC converter generates 10V supply
- No external schottky diode required
- Integrated audio input low pass filter
- Small boost converter inductor
- Supply voltage range from 2.5V to 5.5V
- Selectable gain of 12dB, 16dB, and 24dB
- Independent shutdown control for the boost converter and the audio amplifier
- 8ms fast startup time
- 5.5mA low supply current
- Short circuit and thermal protection
- It is important to operate this EVM within the input voltage range of -0.3V to 6V and the output voltage range of -0.3V to Vdd 3V. Exceeding the specified input range may cause damage to the EVM.
