The SMBJ36CA from Littelfuse is a SMBJ series 600W, surface mount bidirectional transient voltage suppression diode in DO-214AA package. It features excellent clamping capability, low incremental surge resistance, low profile package, moulded plastic body over glass passivated junction, built-in strain relief and fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps from 0Vs to BV min. The peak pulse power dissipation (PPPM) is 600W at TA=25°C, 10/1000µs waveform, 0.01% repetition rate (duty cycle) and power dissipation is 5W on infinite heat sink at TL=50°C. This SMBJ series transient voltage suppression diode is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.

Breakdown voltage (VBR) of 40V minimum, 44.2V maximum at 1mA test current (IT)
