Product Description

The SMAJ20A from Littelfuse is a SMAJ series 400W, surface mount unidirectional transient voltage suppression diode in DO-214AA package. It features excellent clamping capability, glass passivated junction, low inductance, low profile package, built-in strain relief and fast response time of typically less than 1.0ps from 0Vs to VBR min. The peak pulse power dissipation (PPPM) is 400W at TA=25°C, 10/1000µs waveform, 0.01% repetition rate (duty cycle) and peak forward surge current (IFSM) is 60A measured on 8.3ms single half sine wave or equivalent square wave. This SMAJ series transient voltage suppression diode is designed specifically to protect sensitive electronic equipment from voltage transients induced by lightning and other transient voltage events. It is ideal for the protection of I/O interfaces, VCC bus and other vulnerable circuits.

Breakdown voltage (VBR) of 22.2V minimum, 24.5V maximum at 1mA test current (IT)
